This past weekend, our son, Martin, was in town (in Austin) for Thanksgiving. We took the opportunity to work on cleaning out the 1972 VW Bus that we have for the Austin market. This clean out was much easier than the clean out of the original RG VW Bus (the 1976 VW Bus in Kalamazoo).
Below are some of the pictures from the progression of the work.
There is still more to do. However, at least it is closer to being sent to the shop for body and paint work. In the meantime, we played with how the RG magnets will look on the bus (knowing that the color of the bus will most likely go to Patina (rust) or silver metal).
