Making the K College Squasher Gelato Flavor

Today is the day. It is the day that we make the first batch of the new K College gelato flavor that will debut at the Rockin’ the Dock event on Saturday, September 16th.

The flavor is named: K College Squasher Gelato

The main ingredient of the flavor is butternut squash, with this batch using squash from Wiley Farms in Vicksburg, Michigan.  We will serve the flavor with a ginger cookie on top.

At the event, we will be along side fellow local food truck, Organic Gypsy, lead by Bridgett Blough.  Bridgette is an alumni of K College, having played on the volleyball team. She was a guest at Startup Grind – Kalamazoo last year, when she was interviewed by Stacy Belinsky.
