Vicksburg Harvest Festival

September 24, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm UTC-5

Join the fun in celebration of Vicksburg’s agricultural heritage during the Vicksburg Harvest Festival held at the Vicksburg Historic Village. The Harvest Festival is a fundraiser to support the preservation efforts of the Vicksburg Historical Society. We will have our gelatos and sorbets served out of the RG VW Bus.

Also, bring your appetite for the pie baking contest; and a petting zoo with a variety of barnyard animals including sheep, lambs, pigs, goats and even Tornado the bull. This is event attracts over 4,000 people.

Activities include hay rides, Model A car rides, vendors with many homemade items, food booths, storytelling, a scavenger hunt, saw mill demonstration, and an old time photographer with period costumes available to remember your visit. All the buildings in the Historic Village are open to visitors. The day would not be complete without music from area performers in the pavilion and gazebo to set the festive atmosphere.
